Quebec English Literacy Alliance (QELA)
The Quebec English Literacy Alliance, a partnership of English literacy providers (contact list), is dedicated to networking, training and information-sharing activities, advocating for the advancement of literacy in the province.
Quebec Literacy Working Group
The Quebec English Literacy Working Group (QLWG), a provincial committee of school board representatives (contact list), commits itself to promote, advance and support adult, youth and family literacy within the English sector.
To ensure that it succeeds in its mission, the Quebec Literacy Working Group strives to provide its English School board members with the information, tools and support required to fulfill their continual commitment to literacy needs.
RÉCIT
The acronym "RÉCIT" comes from the French name for the network: "réseau de personnes-ressources pour le développement des compétences des élèves par l'intégration des technologies."
In other words, RÉCIT stands for "a network of resource people for the development of student competencies through the integration of technologies." The name "RÉCIT" reflects our dual orientations which encompass local and provincial services.
