In honour of Remembrance Day, The Learning Exchange distributed hundreds of free, bilingual resources to help young people and our new immigrants learn more about remembrance and our country’s military history. Information resources are from Veterans Affairs Canada.

Write a postcard to a Veteran

Students are invited to write messages of personal gratitude on postcards that can be sent to Veterans and Canadian Armed Forces members. All postcards will be given to veterans at the St. Anne de Bellevue Veterans Hospital.

This bookmark helps people of all ages think about remembrance during Veterans’ Week and year round.

Canada Remembers Times

This newspaper explores Canada’s sacrifices and achievements in military efforts over the years. This year’s edition highlights milestones like the 75th anniversary of the Normandy and the Italian Campaigns in the Second World War, as well as the 70th anniversary of NATO and much more!
