  1. Take a fun picture about reading: For example, a drawing of a story or the family reading, a bookmark, a picture of a favourite story, etc.

* Enter as often as you like!!! The contest is open to all residents of Laval, QC (18 years old +) as well as ALL Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board teachers, families and employees. The winner can select from the following book levels and have the box delivered to the home:

SWLSB 2020 Artwork Contest Rules

 Theme

My Favorite Wellness Activity. Students, what is your favorite activity? It can be a sport, an activity or a hobby – something that keeps you active and makes you happy. We need you to illustrate through this contest. 

Eligibility 

 Be a student of the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board. 

 Entry forms must be completed and signed by a parent or a legal guardian; 

 Your artwork must have a title and respect the requirements; 

 Send the completed entry form before Friday, April 24, 2020 at 4 p.m. ABSOLUTELY NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE. 

Please coordinate with your internal courier to have them received in our office on time. 

Requirements 

Painting or Drawing (all techniques are accepted) 

 Original piece is required, please do not scan them in

 All artwork must be provided using the template ONLY; 

 Must be colourful and clear for easy reproduction – avoid black or dark backgrounds; 

 Must not be rolled or folded; 

 Due to the volume of entries received, no artwork will be returned. 

Submission 

 The Principal or teacher must submit the artwork of the student and the completed entry form by internal mail, to:

 Only entries received by Friday, April 24, 2020, 4 p.m., will be eligible. Only the artwork that respects the theme will be eligible. Any artwork judged to be defamatory or not on subject will be disqualified. 

 The contestant authorizes the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board to publish, reproduce and use its artwork without any compensation. 

 The Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board will not be responsible for any lost, late, damaged, misrouted or destroyed artwork or entry form or for typographic, written or production errors.
