Every Action Counts

Now more than ever, every action counts. On Bell Let’s Talk Day, Bell will donate more towards mental health initiatives in Canada by contributing 5¢ for every applicable text, call, tweet or TikTok video using #BellLetsTalk, social media video view and use of our Facebook frame or Snapchat filter.

Hello dear wellness through yoga students! I look forward to our class this weekend!

 ~Pheleshia

This week’s theme is Savasana

  • How do you feel in the Savasana pose?
  • Do your thoughts wander? How do you bring yourself back to the moment?
  • How do you practice ahimsa?
  • How do you let go? What helps you do so?
  • When is the last time you truly let go? Describe the moment as well as how it felt.
  • Five minutes of savasana at the end of a yoga practice is nice, however how can you practice this posture during longer periods of time? As with any posture, practice is key for it to be effective and relaxing. Plan a Savasana routine for the week and document how it makes you feel and how it translates into your everyday.

  • Describe 5 things you have done in the past week that have made you feel energized, fulfilled and rejuvenated?

  • When you think about your yoga practice, are there areas where you seem blocked? How can you unblock them?
