Are you, or do you know, dynamic English-speaking youth between the ages of 18 and 26 who:

  • Identify as members of the English-speaking community
  • Want to deepen their understanding of how Quebec society works
  • Are passionate about working with their peers to bring about positive change?

For the fourth year in a row, Bishop’s University is inviting English-speaking youth from across the province to participate in the Bishop’s Forum, a week-long civic engagement event opportunity aimed at raising questions and addressing issues affecting Quebec’s English-speaking community.

From August 8th to 13th, Quebecers aged 18-26 will gather on Bishop’s campus in Sherbrooke for this unique civic leadership institute.

Participants will connect with engaged and passionate youth from across the province and will meet and network with guest speakers who will inspire them to become leaders of change in their own communities.

The event is funded by the Government of Quebec as part of its Stratégie d’action jeunesse 2016-2021

If you know a young person who fits the criteria above, please encourage them to apply to attend the Bishop’s Forum. Registration can be done online at https://bishopsforum.ubishops.ca/registration/.

The event is free of charge. Travel to and from Bishop’s University and accommodations on campus are covered.

Registration deadline: May 15, 2020
